In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Marshall County Marshals softball team scored a tight 9-2 victory over the Crittenden County Rockets.

The Marshals (8-1) will now prepare for their match against Johnston City (Johnston City, IL). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Johnston City tipped Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL), 5-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Rockets battle the Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) in a District 5 match, on Friday, March 28. Crittenden County will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 2-4 record after their 11-0 league loss to Livingston Central (Smithland, KY).
