The Davie War Eagles the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings softball squad by a count of 4-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the War Eagles meet the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 31. Davie will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 14-0 league win over Cox Mill (Concord, NC).

The Vikings (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets go into the Metro 4A challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Western Guilford was routed by Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC), 22-10, in a non-league challenge.
