California High School Softball - San Clemente sneaks past El Toro

The San Clemente Tritons softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting El Toro Chargers to 1 in the Tritons league win on Thursday.

The Tritons now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Capistrano Valley Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, March 28. San Clemente will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to West Covina (West Covina, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, El Toro moves to 5-9 on the season. The Chargers travel to Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA) to encounter the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 29. The Wolverines come into the battle with a record of 10-6. Aliso Niguel lost 10-2 in their recent non-league battle against La Serna (Whittier, CA)
