The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Gardner Wildcats (Gardner, MA) and the visiting Oakmont Regional Spartans (Ashburnham, MA), observed Gardner's softball team get by Oakmont Regional by a tally of 10-6.

The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Bromfield (Harvard, MA). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Lunenburg Blue Knights (Lunenburg, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett C bout, on Wednesday, April 2. Oakmont Regional will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
