The Gray Stone Day Knights softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting North Hills Christian Eagles to 2 in the Knights non-league win on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Academy for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A battle on Friday, March 28. Gray Stone Day will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 12-5 non-league win over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-0.

With the loss, North Hills Christian moves to 3-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 1. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 0-4. Salem Baptist Christian lost 17-1 in their recent non-league match against Union Grove Christian (Lexington, NC)
