The Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA) softball routed the host Uniontown Red Raiders (Uniontown, PA), 13-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Spartans now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canon-McMillan for a WPIAL 6A 1 outing on Monday, March 31. Hempfield Area will encounter a Big Macs team coming off a 10-6 league loss to Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA). The Big Macs record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Uniontown moves to 3-3 on the season. The Red raiders host Charleroi (Charleroi, PA) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league outing on Monday, March 31. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 2-3. Charleroi lost 13-1 in their recent non-league outing against Frazier (Perryopolis, PA)
