The Lakeside Eagles triumphed over the host Rogers Pirates softball squad by a count of 29-9 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Riverside Rams (Chattaroy, WA) in a 1A Northeast challenge, on Saturday, March 29. Lakeside will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Newport (Newport, WA).
The Pirates (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarkston (Clarkston, WA). The Bantams enter the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Clarkston overcame North Central (Spokane, WA), 22-0, in a league challenge.
