The Lincoln-Way West Warriors softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Minooka Indians to 8 in the Warriors non-league win on Thursday.

The Warriors now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mother McAuley for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 29. Lincoln-Way West will confront a Mighty Macs team coming off a 13-7 non-league win over Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL). The Mighty Macs record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Minooka moves to 3-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL) to confront the Knights in a non-league battle on Friday, March 28. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 1-0. Lincoln-Way Central won 9-4 in their recent non-league battle against Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL)
