California High School Softball - Rancho Bernardo held off by Mater Dei Catholic

March 27, 2025: San Diego, CA 92128

In Thursday's non-league test, the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders (Chula Vista, CA) softball squad got by the host Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA), by a tally of 4-3.

Next, the Crusaders meet the Imperial Tigers (Imperial, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 29. Mater Dei Catholic will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 10-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA).

The Broncos (4-6) will now prepare for their test against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Vaqueros go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, El Capitan was nudged by Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA), 6-2, in a non-league test.
