The Mercer County Titans overwhelmed the host Pulaski County Maroons softball squad by a count of 22-4 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Titans meet the Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 28. Mercer County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY).
The Maroons (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Colts go into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, West Jessamine toppled Henry Clay (Lexington, KY), 15-5, in a non-league challenge.
