South Carolina High School Softball - Myrtle Beach bested by Riverside

The Riverside Beavers triumphed over the host Myrtle Beach Seahawks softball squad by a count of 15-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Beavers play the Grove City Greyhounds (Grove City, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 28. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 12-9 non-league win over South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA).

The Seahawks (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Conway (Conway, SC). The Tigers enter the AAAAA Region 6 challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Conway overcame Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC), 9-0, in a league challenge.
