The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Toms River South Indians (Toms River, NJ) and the visiting Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ), observed Toms River South's softball team prevail over Ocean Township by a tally of 13-3.

Ocean Township will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ).
