Illinois High School Softball - Villa Grove bounces Paxton-Buckley-Loda

The Villa Grove Blue Devils softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers to 2 in the Blue Devils non-league win on Thursday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salt Fork for a non-league battle on Monday, March 31. Villa Grove will confront a Storm team coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] (Kansas, IL). The Storm record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Paxton-Buckley-Loda moves to 1-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Milford (Milford, IL) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league battle on Monday, March 31. The Bearcats come into the battle with a record of 4-1. Milford won 5-0 in their recent non-league battle against Grant Park (Grant Park, IL)
