The Rio Rancho Rams softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Robertson Cardinals to 3 in the Rams non-league win on Thursday.
The Rams now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomfield for a non-league battle on Friday, March 28. Rio Rancho will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 27-2 non-league loss to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Robertson moves to 1-5 on the season. The Cardinals travel to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Bears in a non-league battle on Friday, March 28. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 8-3. La Cueva won 24-4 in their recent non-league battle against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM)
