The Rolla Bulldogs baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Lafayette Fighting Irish to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Union Wildcats (Union, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 28. Rolla will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO).
The Fighting Irish (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Notre Dame was overwhelmed by North Point (Wentzville, MO), 4-1, in a non-league bout.
