The Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) softball the visiting Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA), 8-5 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Lancers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southern Columbia Area for a Heartland III test on Tuesday, March 31. Loyalsock Township will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Muncy (Muncy, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.

The Ironmen (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Milton (Milton, PA). The Black Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Milton held off Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA), 14-12, in a non-league test.
