The Burlington Christian Academy Royals baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting River Mill Jaguars to 0 in the Royals non-league victory on Monday.
The Royals (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Trinity Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Tigers go into the NCISAA Triad match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Trinity Academy was overwhelmed by Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC), 12-2, in a non-league match.
The Jaguars (2-9) will now prepare for their match against Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC). The Lions go into the Central Tar Heel 1A match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Southern Wake Academy ran past Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC), 8-0, in a league match.
