The East Gaston Warriors smashed the visiting Huss Huskies soccer squad by a margin of 10-1 in Monday's non-league match.
The Warriors now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Highland Tech for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A match on Tuesday, March 29. East Gaston will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC). The Rams record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Huss drops to 0-5 on the season. The Huskies travel to North Gaston (Dallas, NC) to encounter the Wildcats in a Big South 3A match on Tuesday, March 29. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 1-7. North Gaston lost 5-0 in their recent league match against Crest (Shelby, NC)
