The Wheatmore Warriors got by the visiting Trinity Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 9-8 in Monday's league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Asheboro for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 30. Wheatmore will face a Blue Comets team coming off a 18-1 league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Blue Comets record now stands at 0-4.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, March 29. Trinity will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to East Davidson (Thomasville, NC).
