The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) and the host Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC), saw Marvin Ridge's lacrosse team overcome Ardrey Kell by a margin of 9-1.
The Mavericks (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Spartans enter the challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Sun Valley was overwhelmed by Weddington (Matthews, NC), 19-0, in a league challenge.
The Knights (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record.
