The Granite Bay Grizzlies lacrosse team scored 15 points and held the visiting Whitney Wildcats to 6 in the Grizzlies league win on Monday.
The Grizzlies (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Rocklin (Rocklin, CA). The Thunder go into the Sacramento Valley match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Rocklin was overwhelmed by Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA), 12-4, in a league match.
The Wildcats (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Golden Eagles go into the Sierra Foothill League match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Del Oro was overwhelmed by Jesuit (Carmichael, CA), 18-6, in a non-league match.
