University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs (Detroit, MI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI), 14-3 in a non-league battle.

The Cubs now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's Prep for a Division 2 District 8 battle on Wednesday, March 30.

In their next game, the Fighting Irish clash with the Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers (Waterford, MI) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 30. Notre Dame Prep will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
