North Carolina High School Softball - Athens Drive topped by Green Hope

March 28, 2022: Raleigh, NC 27606

In Monday's non-league contest, the Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC), by a margin of 13-0.

With the triumph, Green Hope moves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Falcons travel to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC) to play the Golden Hawks in a Southwest Wake 4A contest on Tuesday, March 29. The Golden Hawks come into the contest with a record of 4-5. Holly Springs won 12-0 in their recent league contest against Green Level (Cary, NC)

In their next game, the Jaguars play the Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) in a Cap Six 4A contest, on Tuesday, March 29. Athens Drive will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC).
