Paradise Honors Panthers (Surprise, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 18-1 record. They take the field next when they host Yuma for a 4A Southwest challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Paradise Honors will battle a Criminals squad coming off a 18-2 non-league loss to San Luis (San Luis, AZ). The Criminals record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, Cactus falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Cobras travel to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) to battle the Saints in a 4A West Valley challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Notre Dame Prep lost 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ)
