The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY) and the host Collins Titans (Shelbyville, KY), saw Tates Creek's softball squad nip Collins by a count of 13-8.
The Commodores now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Male for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 30. Tates Creek will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Collins falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Butler (Louisville, KY) to face the Bears in a non-league match on Friday, April 1. The Bears enter the match with a record of 1-0.
