Illinois High School Softball - El Paso-Gridley bounces Lowpoint-Washburn

The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) and the host Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats (Washburn, IL), saw El Paso-Gridley's softball squad achieve victory over Lowpoint-Washburn by a count of 15-0.

The Titans now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pontiac for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 29. El Paso-Gridley will face a Indians squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Indians record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Lowpoint-Washburn falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL) to face the Mallards in a Tri-County match on Tuesday, March 29. The Mallards enter the match with a record of 0-2. Henry-Senachwine lost 11-0 in their recent non-league match against St. Bede (Peru, IL)
