The Sparkman Senators softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Russellville Golden Tigers to 0 in the Senators non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Sparkman moves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Senators travel to Grissom (Huntsville, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a 7A Area 7 game on Tuesday, March 29. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 5-8. Grissom lost 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Buckhorn (New Market, AL)

In their next game, the Golden Tigers clash with the Spanish Fort Toros (Spanish Fort, AL) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 1. Russellville will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Toros come into the game with a 8-10 record after their 15-4 non-league loss to Daphne (Daphne, AL).
