The Amboy Clippers baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Newark Norsemen to 14 in the Clippers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Clippers (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL). The Royals go into the non-league match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Hinckley-Big Rock was edged by Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL), 14-3, in a non-league match.
The Norsemen (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Morris (Morris, IL). The Redskins go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Morris edged Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL), 5-0, in a non-league match.
