The Bethel Christian Academy Trojans got by the visiting Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals baseball team by a count of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty Christian Academy for a NCCSA AA District 4 - East Region game on Thursday, March 30. Bethel Christian Academy will clash with a Heat team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC). The Heat record now stands at 0-4.
The Generals (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Cape Fear Christian Academy (Erwin, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Cape Fear Christian Academy tipped Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC), 5-3, in a league game.
