In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Maroa-Forsyth Trojans baseball team scored a nice 13-4 victory over the Heyworth Hornets.
The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Westville (Westville, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Westville overcame Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL), 13-1, in a non-league game.
The Hornets (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Warrensburg-Latham overcame St. Teresa (Decatur, IL), 5-3, in a league game.
