The Hopewell Vikings baseball team (Aliquippa, PA), was tipped 7-6 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA)

The Lancers now hold a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mohawk Area for a WPIAL 3A 1 outing on Monday, April 3.

Next, the Vikings confront the Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 30. Hopewell will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Antelopes go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA).
