The St. Laurence Vikings baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Leo Lions to 1 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Vikings (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins go into the non-league match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Lincoln-Way East gained a win over Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL), 5-2, in a league match.
The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Marmion (Aurora, IL). The Cadets go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Marmion was overwhelmed by Yorkville (Yorkville, IL), 7-1, in a non-league match.
