The Midway Raiders crushed the visiting Red Springs Red Devils baseball team by a count of 9-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Pauls for a Southeastern Athletic 2A bout on Tuesday, April 4. Midway will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-6.
Next, the Red Devils face the Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 29. Red Springs will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 2-7 record after their 12-10 league loss to Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC).
