California High School Volleyball - Monterey Trail can't hold off Sheldon

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Sheldon Huskies volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Monterey Trail Mustangs.
The Huskies (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA). The Wolfpack come into the battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Cosumnes Oaks was edged by Jesuit (Carmichael, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 4. Monterey Trail will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 9-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA).
