The Sheldon Huskies volleyball team (Sacramento, CA), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA)

The Mustangs (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against River City (West Sacramento, CA). The Raiders come into the Metropolitan Conference challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, River City nudged McClatchy (Sacramento, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies encounter the Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 31. Sheldon will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Grant (Sacramento, CA).
