In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting James F. Byrnes Rebels soccer squad scored a close 7-3 triumph over the Woodruff Wolverines.
The Rebels (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Dorman (Roebuck, SC). The Cavaliers come into the AAAAA Region 2 battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Dorman by Eastside (Taylors, SC), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
The Wolverines (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Union County (Union, SC). The Yellowjackets come into the AAA Region 4 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Union County Emerald (Greenwood, SC), 3-3, in a league battle.
