In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Ottawa Cyclones.
The Thunderbirds (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Turner (Kansas City, KS). The Golden Bears come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record.
The Cyclones (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Seabury Academy (Lawrence, KS). The Seahawks come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Bishop Seabury Academy was overwhelmed by Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool (Topeka, KS), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
