Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD), 11-9 in a non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Francis Scott Key for a non-league test on Thursday, March 30.
In their next game, the Cavaliers face the Liberty Lions (Sykesville, MD) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 18. South Carroll will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
