In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Herndon Hornets lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-6 victory over the Fairfax Lions.

The Hornets now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host McLean for a Liberty test on Friday, March 31. Herndon will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-0.

In their next game, the Lions face the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) in a Patriot test, on Friday, March 31. Fairfax will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 15-6 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA).
