The Lakeside Panthers lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the visiting South Effingham Mustangs to 2 in the Panthers league win on Tuesday.
The Panthers (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Wolfpack go into the 5A-6A Area 7 game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Greenbrier prevailed over Grovetown (Grovetown, GA), 12-3, in a league game.
The Mustangs (2-9) will now prepare for their game against May River (Bluffton, SC). The Sharks go into the non-league game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, May River was overwhelmed by Riverside (Greer, SC), 12-10, in a non-league game.
