The Brusly Panthers softball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Tara Trojans to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Brusly improves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Panthers host Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA) to clash with the Eagles in a 3A District 6 game on Friday, March 31. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 5-7. Parkview Baptist lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Albany (Albany, LA)
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA) in a 4A District 6 battle, on Wednesday, March 29. Tara will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Green Devils go into the battle with a 5-6 record after their 24-6 non-league win over Tara (Baton Rouge, LA).
