The Calexico Bulldogs the visiting Southwest EC Eagles softball squad by a final score of 5-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Central (El Centro, CA). The Spartans go into the Imperial Valley battle with a 2-9 record.
The Eagles now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Calipatria for a Desert battle on Friday, March 31. Southwest EC will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 28-10 non-league win over Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-2.
