Louisiana High School Softball - Sacred Heart bounces Catholic of Pointe Coupee

The Sacred Heart Trojans routed the host Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets softball squad by a final score of 7-2 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Trojans (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against Kaplan (Kaplan, LA). The Pirates go into the non-league battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Kaplan was routed by St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA), 6-0, in a non-league battle.

The Hornets now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to University Lab for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 30. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will meet a Cubs squad coming off a 20-11 non-league loss to Central Private (Baker, LA). The Cubs record now stands at 2-6.
