The Rantoul Eagles softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Champaign Central Maroons to 4 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Rantoul improves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Rockford East (Rockford, IL) to clash with the E-Rabs in a non-league game on Friday, March 31. The E-Rabs come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Maroons clash with the Urbana Tigers (Urbana, IL) in a Big Twelve game, on Thursday, March 30. Champaign Central will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 11-9 non-league win over Heritage (Broadlands, IL).
