In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA) softball team held off the visiting Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA), by a margin of 10-9.
With the triumph, Crestwood moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Comets travel to Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA) to play the Blue Knights in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 29. The Blue Knights come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Hornets play the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 contest, on Saturday, April 1. Honesdale will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Buckhorns come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA).
