Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cullman Bearcats (Cullman, AL), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Foxes now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tournament Opponent for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 29. Yorkville will face a squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Hoopa Valley (Hoopa, CA). The record now stands at 23-60.

With the loss, Cullman falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Curry (Jasper, AL) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 25-6. Curry won 20-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL)
