Wickliffe Blue Devils (Wickliffe, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Geneva Eagles (Geneva, OH), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cardinal for a Chagrin Valley - Valley challenge on Monday, April 3.
With the loss, Geneva falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH) to battle the Bombers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Bombers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
