The South Christian Sailors softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Holland Christian Maroons to 3 in the Sailors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, South Christian improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Sailors host Covenant Christian (Grand Rapids, MI) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 12. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Maroons clash with the Hamilton Hawkeyes (Hamilton, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Blue game, on Tuesday, April 11. Holland Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Hawkeyes come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 17-2 non-league win over Saugatuck (Saugatuck, MI).
