The Perry Commodores softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Jackson Center Tigers to 8 in the Commodores non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Perry moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Commodores travel to Elgin (Marion, OH) to clash with the Comets in a Northwest Central game on Thursday, March 30. The Comets come into the game with a record of 0-2. Elgin lost 4-0 in their recent non-league game against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Anna Rockets (Anna, OH) in a Shelby County game, on Thursday, March 30. Jackson Center will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Rockets come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Spencerville (Spencerville, OH).
