Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Madison Southern Eagles (Berea, KY), 19-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Maroons now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host West Jessamine for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 30. Pulaski County will battle a Colts squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Woodford County (Versailles, KY). The Colts record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Madison Southern falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY) to battle the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. Rockcastle County won 14-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY)
